Steven Fey brings the eye of a fine art photographer to magazine and editorial photography. His work in this area focuses on environmental portraiture and images of the natural world.

As with his portraiture, when photographing people Fey goes beyond simply presenting a likeness. He meets with his subjects prior to the shoot and gets to know them. With this knowledge, Fey can create richer images that convey more about the subjects. Fey’s large format cameras also contribute to the quality of the photos, allowing him to capture scenes with extraordinary clarity and detail.

Fey has created editorial photography for the Wilderness Society and Scopes magazine, among others.
